a ) Example :

Null Hypothesis : The drugs manufactured by a company cures the disease

Alternate Hypothesis : The drug will not cure the disease

if a customer rejects the null hypothesis based on the bad sample, when the drug cures the disease an error occurs which is called Type - error. in this case the producer ( manufacturer ) will be at loss.

b) on the other hand , if the customer accepts the drug when it fails to cure the disease then the error occured is called Type - II error. in this case the customer is at risk
