Because it is the amino acid which determines the basic structure of the polypeptide and later the hydrogen bonding between the amino acids forming alpha-helix or beta-sheets. salt bridges, ionic interactions help in the tertiary structure. quaternary represents the interaction of subunits of protein.

after initiation of transcription, processing of primary transcript occurs which includes 3 steps.

5` capping, polyadenylation, alternate splicing.

after a short period of initiation, the 5` end of the transcript mRNA is modified by the addition of 7-methylguanosine which is known as 5`capping. the nucleotide gets modified by the addition of GTP at the 5` end in reverse orientation and later the methyl groups are added to this guanosine. 5` capping is mainly required for the synthesis of functional mRNAsbecause this cap helps in the alignment of mRNA onto ribosomes during translation.

11. mRNA.

ribosomes bind to mRNA during translation process during initiation.The first tRNA gets attached at the initiation codon, ribosomes bind to the target mRNA. tRNA transfers the amino acid to another tRNA that corresponds with the next codon. Ribosomes translocate to next codon of mRNA thereby increasing the polypeptide chain. After reaching stop codon the polypeptide is terminated and released from the ribosome.
