managing the risk is called risk management. in other terms, every activity carries some amount of risk and it may or may not appers. but we comes to know at the end of the activity only.

take an example of riding a two wheler. what kind of risks associated with it and how can we minimize it?

first: the rider should wear helmet, if any accident happens to minimize the loss.

second: he can take insurance for both his life and for the bike also. here he is transforming the risk to some other party named as insurance providers.

when it comes to risk management in health care, it is like a hypothetical activity. we are providing health insurance or benefits to the people who attacked or faced some health problems. so, if majority of the people are facing health related issues, then we need to spend more money and legally more problems also. if the cases are little, we will be in safe zone.
