Step 1. Project definition and significant activities involved in the project are mentioned.
Step 2. After defining the project and identifying the activities involved, sequencing them.
Step 3. Drawing a network diagram on the basis of sequencing of activities.
Step 4. Each task or activity is then assigned time and costs related to it.
Step 5. After assigning time we calculate the longest path which means also calculating the longest time whole process of all activities will take. Also identifying the critical path which is important and needs to be maintained as per schedule otherwise whole project may be delayed and costs will rise.
