Solution: - Let the width of the rectangle = x

length =2x+2

perimeter of the rectangle =2(2x+2) +2x = 34

4x+4+2x =34

6x +4 =34

6x =30

x = 5

Hence width = 5 \'

Length = 2 X 5 +2 = 12\'
