An organization is a collection of employees and all being classified into several hierarchical categories. Despite the position of each and every employee, even though no two employees perform the same task, finally everyone are serving to or adding up to the goals of that organization. These goals are generally set up by the guiding forces of policy statement. The goals can be met or can be reached only if each and every employee including the management level religiously follows the policy statement. Technically, every organization will have a mission for which it works. Policies are the guidelines to design strategies to achieve that mission. Policies are also the monitoring or controling unit of the organization\'s behaviour.

As per the Global Post notes that the scope of written policies includes language to cover legal issues that may arise due to the nature of the business, employee health and welfare, especially in hazardous operational conditions, and/or ethical concerns that may put the organization or the employee in a position of conflict.
