Drawing
Location
In the space that follows, sketch a small section of each of the type of connective tissues you observed. For each sketch, label the major characteristics, indicate the magnification used, write an example of a location in the body, and provide a function. Add any personal notes is any extra space within the box with your sketch that would assist your future ability to recognize the tissue.

Solution

Areolar connective Tissue: It is widely distributed tissue in the body and act as packing material in all organs. It forms subcutaneous layer of the skin. It contain several types of cells. Include Fibroblasts: Secrets collagen, elastin fibers. Mast cellscells: involved in Vasodialation and blood clotting etc. Macrophages: Phagocytic cells.

Adipose tissue: Special fat stored tissue. Present beneath the skin and provide thermo insulation

Reticular Connective tissue: Made up with special type of Fibroblasts called Reticular cells. Secret fibers that form cement material for tissue formation. Form supporting framework for lymphoid organs

Dense regular connective tissue: In this cells, Collagen fibers arranged papallal to one another in bundles. Tendons (connect bone with skeletal muscles) and ligaments (connect bone with another bone).
