moment at midspan due to vertical point load = 10*20/4=50 kip-ft
moment at midspan due to horizontal load = 3*20/4=15 kip-ft
moment capacity of W10x45 about major axis for unbraced length of 20 ft = 137-[(137-85.8)/(26.9-7.1)]*(20-7.1)=103.6 kip-ft
moment capacity of beam about minor axis = 50.6 kip-ft
therefore, from interaction check, (50/103.6)+(15/50.6)=0.78<1
Therefore, section is adequate
