In your own words, describe how you use Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) in your career. Of the three options below, choose the one that most closely aligns with your current position (i.e. using CPFR, not using CPFR, unemployed) and discuss.

Have you worked in an organization that has incorporated CPFR into its business strategy? If so, discuss the benefits and drawbacks realized from such strategy within your organization.

If your organization has not incorporated CPFR, discuss what supply chain model your business uses and how it enables or does not enable improved collaboration between the various supply chain partners.

If not currently employed or if you have never worked in a logistics or supply chain role, research and discuss several ways in which collaboration within a supply chain adds value to a firm’s supply chain. Include in your discussion the concept of the Bullwhip Effect.
