(a) In microbiology PCR isa highly valuable technique for organism detection such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis

(b) Virology -PCR helped detected and characterizd the nucleic acids of viruses and it also use for screening blood samples collecting from donation.

(c) Mycology and parasitology -it help in early identification of the microorganisn thus aiding efficient diagnosis and treatment of fungal and parasitic infections.

(d) Dentistry -PCR technique enable the diagnosis of infectious microbes that cause maxillofacial infections .this helps in the effective management of conditions such as peridontal disease caries ,Oral cancer and endodentic infections
