Solve by completing the square q2 9g 11 0Solutiong2 9g 11

Solve by completing the square q^2 - 9g + 11 = 0

Solution

g2 -9g +11=0

g2 -9g=-11

Here b=-9 , therefore b/2=-9/2. We have to add the square of -9/2 to both sides

g2-9g +81/4 = -11 +81/4

(g -9/2)2 = 37/4

Taking square root on both sides

g-9/2 = +-(sqrt37)/2

g= 9/2 +- (sqrt37)/2

g=9/2 + (sqrt37)/2 , 9/2 -(sqrt37)/2

 Solve by completing the square q^2 - 9g + 11 = 0Solutiong2 -9g +11=0 g2 -9g=-11 Here b=-9 , therefore b/2=-9/2. We have to add the square of -9/2 to both sides
