Cardiac Pacemakers
A demand pacemaker can be represented by the block diagram given below. Please explain the operation of this pacemaker by means of appropriate waveform diagrams for voltages V1 and V2. You should consider the operation both with and without spontaneous ventricular beats.
timing circuit output circuit electrodes threshold detector ramp I-reset circuit generator an mplifieSolution
From the electrodes the the heartbeat of the person detects and that acts like a duplexer
Thereby it goes to amplify the sound( i.e increase the sound)
And goes to reset circuit for reset the process
And ramp generator increases the the sound as linearly from ramp when we absorb the output increases at t>0
And the signal goes to threshold detector as it absorbs above line i.e from what frequency our signal would to be detect.
Timing circuit is used as decision making like time managing
And thereafter the whole processed signal goes to output cuircit and absorbed by electrode as it is duplexer
Note:- duplexer can detect signal and as well as sends signal.
