calculate the number of grams that would provide the LD50 for a 185-lb person for each of the following:

table salt, 3300

sodium cyanide,6

aspirin, 1100

Solution

185 Ib- 84 Kg

Taking the above values (in question)

table salt, 3300; sodium cyanide,6; aspirin, 1100 as mg/kg of body weight as a lethal 50 dose,

therefore,

Table salt----3300 mg * 84 kg = 277200 mg = 277.2grams

Sodium cyanide-----6 mg * 84 kg = 504 mg = 0.5 gram

Aspirin------1100 * 84 kg = 92400mg = 92.4grams

calculate the number of grams that would provide the LD50 for a 185-lb person for each of the following: table salt, 3300 sodium cyanide,6 aspirin, 1100Solution
