Find the vertical asymptote of the graph of Ep 4p16 4pSolu

Find the vertical asymptote of the graph of: E(p) = 4p/16 - 4p

Solution

Vertical asymptotes are the lines of the form: p=k where k is some real number such that the graph tends to this line as E grows to infinity

We can see from the equation that when :16-4p=0 tends E to infinity. But the function itself is not defined for 16-4p =0 ie p=4 but as we get close to p=4 ,E grows to infinity

So the vertical asymptote is: p=4

Find the vertical asymptote of the graph of: E(p) = 4p/16 - 4pSolutionVertical asymptotes are the lines of the form: p=k where k is some real number such that
