I have been trying at this problem for a while now. I know that the midline is y=14 and that the period are 120. I am having a hard time finding the equation. It would also be a horizontal shift to the right by 20. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance!

Answer the questions for the graph below 28 To enter a value like 2, type 2*pi. To enter a value like rx, type pi*x To enter a value like ro, type pix Do not type pix. What is the period, exactly? What is the period, exacty? Do not enter an approximate value: 120 What is the amplitude? 14 What is the equation? Do not include approximate values. Solution

The function is a Time shifted Cosine function Time advanced by 40. so the function looks like cos (wt +40).

Here w = 2*PI/ T = 2 * PI / 120 = PI / 60.

Here we have the DC Value also. as the DC value of cosine should be Zero. but the cosine function is shifted in y axis by 14.

So The DC value / Average Value will present in the function.

The Amplitude of the Function is 14 and in negative axis it is -14.

So the function is f(x) = 14 + 14 cos ( 2* PI / 120 (t+40))

For cross reference , we can check with the value at t = 20 ,

F(X) = 14 + 14 cos (PI)

       = 14 -14

       =0.
