What statement, if any, can be made about the summit and base in a quadrilateral whose opposites sides lie on parallel lines?
Solution
If the opposite sides of a quadrilateral lie on parallel lines then the quadrilateral can satisfy the possibility of being a parallelogram, rhombus, square , rectangle or trapezium because in all these quadrilaterals have the property where opposite sides are parallel.
