Solution
a) s=1200ft, t=10s,initial velocity u=0
=>s=u*t+0.5*a*t^2
=>a =s/(0.5*t^2) =1200/(0.5*10^2) =24ft/s^2
b) v=u+a*t =>v=0+24*10 =240ft/s
c) s=u*t+0.5*a*t^2 =0+0.5*24*5^2 =300ft
