Mollusks are known to very diverse including 110,000 named species and some examples are clams, oysters, snails, octopi etc. These mollusks are known to have distant common ancestor with the annelid worms (trochophore larva) and it has been believed that both mollusks and annelids most probably might have evolved from free-living flatworms.

The main difference between mollusks and annelids are

Only one heart is seen in Mollusca, while Annelids have five hearts

Open circulatory system is found in Mollusca can have open circulatory system but annelids have closed circulatory system

Mollusks are marine creatures while Nematoda and Annelids are known to inhabit various ecologies, marine (tidal zone and hydrothermal vents), fresh water and terrestrial.

Mollusks have a more complex system when compared to annelids

Either externally or internally we can spot shells in Mollusks (snails, scallops, and squids), but shells are absent in Annelids.
