Describe in a step by step way how a light with a wavelength
Solution
Q.No 1.
a. The trichometric theory is a principle of trichromatic color vision – the way the photoreceptor cells in the eyes of individuals and other primates perform to enable color vision.three types of cone photoreceptors might be labeled as short-preferring (blue), middle-preferring (green), and long-preferring (red), relating with their response to the wavelengths of light striking the retina. The general skills of the signals detected by the three types of cones are interpreted by the head as a visible color.
b. In Opponent theory, the colors in each pair oppose each other. Red-green receptors can not send messages about both colors at exactly the same time. This principle also describes negative afterimages; once a stimulus of a certain color is shown, the opponent shade is observed after the stimulus is eliminated since the anabolic and catabolic procedures are reversed. Red creates a good (or excitatory) reaction while green creates a negative (or inhibitory) response. These answers are controlled by opponent neurons, which are neurons that have an excitatory reaction for some wavelengths and an inhibitory response to wavelengths in the opponent part of the spectrum.
2. Proranopia : The lack in the long wavelength sensitive retinal cones; individuals with this disorder are unable to distinguish between colours in the green-yellow-red element of the spectrum. The visible range is faster at the red end compared to that of the normal. The part of the range which normally appears as blue green appears gray in protanopia. They have a simple level at a greenish wavelength around 492nm and they can not discriminate light of this wavelength from white. For the protanope, the perfection of red, orange and orange are significantly reduced compared to normal. Deuteranopia: Lacking the moderate wavelength cones, these affected are again unable to distinguish between colours in the green yellow red section of the spectrum. The part of the range which normally appears as green appears grey. Their neutral level reaches a slightly longer wavelength, 498nm. Tritanopia: Lacking the small wavelength cones, these affected are unable to recognize colors over the blue-yellow dimension.
