Ans) Let us find V_o for two extremes of V_i i.e +12 V and -12 V

For V_i=12 V

Z₁ is forward biased(V=1 V) and Z₂ is reverse biased (break down V=10 V)

So V_o(max)=10-1=9 V

V_o(max)=9 V

Z₁ is reverse biased (V=8 V) and Z₂ is forward biased (break down V= 1V)
