Regarding Newtons 2nd law which direction will acceleration

Regarding Newton\'s 2^nd law, which direction will acceleration always be in? The equation resulting from application of Newton\'s 2^nd law is called the body\'s A go-kart is pulled by two forces(shown below). The wheels of the go-kart allow it to move freely in any direction. For each Case(A, B, C, or D) list the magnitude of acceleration. A large truck breaks down out on the road and receives a push back into town by a small compact car as shown. While the car, still pushing the truck, is speeding up to get up to cruising speed, the amount of force that the car applies to the truck Is equal to, smaller than, or greater than the force that the truck pushes back with. For the car and truck above, which is the correct statement of the situation? The truck moves forward because the car pushes slightly harder on the truck than the truck pushes back on the car. The car cannot move the truck because the truck pushes back on the car with the same force with which the car pushes on the truck. The car can only push the truck forward if the truck weighs less than the car. The car can only move the truck if the friction force generated between the wheels and the road Is greater than the force with which the truck pushes back on the car.

Solution

Answer- 1: According to Newton\'s second law the direction of acceleration is in the direction of force.

Answer-2 :the equation resulting from the application of Newton\'s second law is called body\'s Impulse which act for short period of time.

Answer-3 : Largest-D, Next-A, Next-B, Smallest-C because from components of forces when we take component of force in x and y direction thn we come to know that in 4th case we have the maximum force in x and y directions an similary in 3rd case we get smaler resultant force.

Answer-4: equal to, because of Newton\'s 3rd law which states that for every action there is equal and opposite reaction. Which means that there is equal and opposite pair of forces will act.

Answer-5: option d is correct, because to move the truck car will exert the force and truck will also apply equal force and friction should be enough to overcome the back force applied by truck.
