pls pls explain why the C used at question no. 3 is 275? I thought C is supposed to be based on the neutral axis? i hoped that makes sense. thank you!

If you observe in the question 3 they asked resultant force caused by stress on top board. In this case the stress will be calculated with respect to top board of C not the with respect to centroidal(NA) axis. so we find stress with distance from bottom to top board which is 275.
