Both histogram and box-plot shows that distribution is skewed to right. Box-plot shows that there are two outliers of the distribution at the upper end.

Since the distribution is not symmetric, it is skewed to right so median will be appropriate summary statitics for the centre of distribution.

Since the distribution is not symmetric, it is skewed to right so inter quartile range (IQR) will be appropriate summary statitics for the spread of distribution.
