Suppose 40% of your customers are male and 60% are female. You also know that 30% of your male customers buy your products online, and 20% of your female customers but your products online. What percentage of ALL your customers buy your products online?

Assume you have a total of 1000 customers

Female = 60% * 1000 = 600

Male = 40% of 1000 = 400

Male and buy the product online = 30% of 400 = 120

Female and buy the product online = 20% of 600 = 120

So, total number of customers who buy their products online = 120 males + 120 females =240 in all

Total number of customers = 1000

So, % who buy online = 240/1000 * 100 ---> 24000/1000 = 24%

Answer ---> 24%
