1. There are a few international logisitcs programs being run by different agenicies. Among those most notable program are C-TPAT certification which is being run by The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), along with Customs and Border Protection. Maritime Security Council (MSC) is also a prominient name in logistics security program. Other programs include ISPS code, Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA), Business Alliance for Secure Commerce, Free and Secure Trade (US/Canada/Mexico) and ISO 28000 – Security for the Supply Chain.
