Looking at the following circuits:

Does the cascode amplifier have the same frequency response when the same 4.7nF (Capacitor C1 in the cascode amp schematic) capacitance is added to the common emitter amplifier? Why or why not?

Solution

Yes these both will have the dame frequency response when the same 4.7nF capacitance is added to the common emitter amplifie. Since in both the cases current through the capacitor is the part of the input current through the Vsig source. And the output in both the cases depends on the current of the current mirror circuit.
