The practices associated with project success are documented in many books, discussed at conferences, and taught in many courses. If the elements of project success are known and the consequences of failure are so undesirable, why don\'t more government and commercial organizations use these success factors or practices to prevent project failures? (one or two paragraphs).

Solution

Success factors or best practises are archived in many organizations. But these factors depend on many conditions and may not be applicable for all the future projects.Also scuccess of a project is more dependent on effectiveness of a team, their productivity.

Also now the market is so competitive all the clients are asking for productivity improvement in each year and process improvement suggestion. So mere delivery of code or binary is not anymore the requirement.Understanding the business and pain-points more closely is also the need of the hour.

All these factors count for making a project success.
