yellow colour shows the amount of work that has been completed and green represent the work completed in month 3.

For activity B, if u look at the time (i.e., x=2), the yellow colour is behind the x=2 month mark, hence it was running behind schedule but at end of 3rd month yellow colour did the lagging behind work of month 2 and the work to be done in month 3 to complete activity on time.

Hence answer would be at end of month 2, activity B was running behind schedule.
