We start with the claim in the problem and defien the hypothesis in such away that the claim can be verified whether there are enough evidence to support the claim or not

We generally assume that the data had come from a population that follows normal distribution

The test static is calculated for different tests with different parameters, and the rejection region is decided, if the value of the test static falls in rejection region we reject the null hypothesis and otherwise fall to reject.

The P- value is also calculated which gives an idea about how good our conclusion is
