Review differences between Bergeys Manual of Systemic Bacter
Solution
1.There are 2 comprehensive databases compiled into books that help scientists classify bacteria and archaea, for identification purposes or for the analysis of their relationships and origin.
There are two databases:
(i) Primary Database:- It can be broadly described in experiment such as nucleotide sequence, protein sequence or macromolecular structure. The experimental results are given directly into the database by the scientists.nThe primari databases are never changed and become as apart of the scientific record.
(ii) Secondary database:- It consists of the derived results of analysing primary data. Secondary databases collects information from several sources it manages vocabularies and the scietific literature too.
2.Bergey\'s manual of Determinative Bacteriology
as it includes the morphology, differential staining, biochemical tests of the bacteria and archaea.
3.There are four divisions
Gram-negative eubacteria that have cell walls
Eubacteria lacking cell wall
gram -positive eubacteria that have cell walls
The archaebacteria
Cell wall is based upon the different composition of the bacteria and archae.
4.Lipids- as lipids are insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents.the archaea too has its own lipids and bacteria too has the same process to be maintained
5.Gracilicutes- Example E.coli consists gram -ve cell wall
Fermicutes-Example- Bacillus
Tenericutes- Example- Mycoplasma
Mendoscicutes-it is an even gram stain and it is methanogenic so is now it is classed under Archaea.
