The current gain of an amplier is 500, the load resistance is 100, and the input resistance of the amplier is 1 M. Determine the voltage gain and power gain under these conditions.

Solution

current gain=500

load resistance=100 ohms

input resistance= 1*10^6 ohms

resistance gain=load resistance/input ressistance=100/(10^6)=1*10^-4

voltage gain=current gain*resistance gain=500*1*10^-4=0.05

power gain=voltage gain*current gain=0.05*500=25
