In grasshopper digestion is started from the mouth, which taken by the mandibles of the chewing parts, which is entered into oesophagus through pharynx by the salivary enzymes it get passage of food occurs, thus it mixes with salivary secretion into crop and stores in gizzard, here it allows food bolus to stomach where different enzymes Lila amylase , invertase,maltase tryptase , lipases are acted upon the food materials thus it converts complex molecules to simple molecules from it releases into the body coelom , pyloric valve prevents reverting of food from stomach, and distributed all parts of the body. The undigested food is releases as small pellets at hindgut through anus.
