find voltage and current r1 60 ohms r225 ohms r3 40 ohms r4

find voltage and current.
r1= 60 ohms
r2=25 ohms
r3 = 40 ohms
r4 = 20 ohms
r5 = 55 ohms

Solution

V=IR

in order to calculate current ,the following formula is used

I=V/R

V=100

1)R=60 ohms

current=100/60 =1.66 amperes

2)R=25 ohms

current=100/25 =4 amperes

3)R=40 ohms

current= 100/40 =2.5 amperes

4)R=20 ohms

current=100/20 =5 amperes

5)R=55 ohms

current= 100/55 =1.81 amperes

For parallel resistors formula is Requa=R1R2/R1+R2

FOR SERIES RESISTANCE FORMULA IS Requ=R1+R2

total rersistance in the given circuit is 88.57 ohms

V=IR

1)60 ohms

V=IR

=1.66(88.57)=147 VOLTS

2)25 ohms

V=IR

=4(88.57)=354.28 VOLTS

3)40 0HMS

=2.5(88.57)=221.425 VOLTS

4)20 OHMS

=5(88.57)=442.85 VOLTS

5)55 OHMS

=1.81(88.57)=160.317 volts

Resistor (ohms) voltage (volts) current (amperes)
60 147.28 1.66
25 354.28 4
40 221.425 2.5
20 442.85 5
55 160.317 1.81
find voltage and current. r1= 60 ohms r2=25 ohms r3 = 40 ohms r4 = 20 ohms r5 = 55 ohms SolutionV=IR in order to calculate current ,the following formula is use
