If E>B>C  thenTransistor in Reverse Active region

if E<B<C thenTransistor in Forward Active region;

a) VE<VB=VC, here the transitor is in the bondary betweetn Active region and Saturation region

b)VE<VB>VC, thenTransistor in Saturation

c)VE<VB<V6 then Transistor in Forward Active region;
