reb will like to Fence the north side of his property that is 515 in length how many Fence posts will he need if he sets his posts 8 1/2 apart ( make sure you have an initial post to start )

Solution

Start with inital post at one of the ends of the north side of the fence

Now we put a post evey 8 1/2=17/2 apart

So number of posts to be installed other than the initial post is : 515/(17/2)~ 60.588

So about 60 posts can be installed
