Find a b and c to make this matrix equation true a 3 b c 2

Find a, b, and c to make this matrix equation true [a 3 b c] = [2 3 c 4] a = 4, b = 4, c = 4 a = 2, b = 3, c = 3a = 2, b = 3, c = 3 a = 2, b = 4, c = 4 a = 4, b = 2, c = 2

Solution

Both matrices are square matrix of order 2 and they are equal..If two matrices are equal then their corresponding elements are equal to each other..

From the matrices we have ,the first element a of matrix on the left hand side is equal to the first element 2 of the matrix on the right hand side, similarly the element in the first row and second column b and c are equal ,the elements in the second row and first column 3 are same and the elements in the second row and second column c and 4 are equal.

Therefore,we have a=2,b=c and c=4 implies that b=4.Thus a=2,b=4 and c=4 is the answer.

 Find a, b, and c to make this matrix equation true [a 3 b c] = [2 3 c 4] a = 4, b = 4, c = 4 a = 2, b = 3, c = 3a = 2, b = 3, c = 3 a = 2, b = 4, c = 4 a = 4,
