Using the relation,

1/v + 1/u = 1/f

So, 1/2.5 + 1/100 = 1/f

So, f = 2.44 cm

So, For the object to be located at u = 25 cm

So, 1/25 + 1/v = 1/2.44

So, v = 2.704 cm
