Based on your experience and judgement, provide details on your office/premise telecommunication/network configuration and technology used to get connected to the outside world (PSTN/PDN/Internet etc.). Comment on existing network and infrastructure deployed based on your office/premise users\' requirements. Suggest any necessary upgrades and improvements to the current infrastructure to meet user demand and technology choices in the near future.

Solution

In my office we are using broadband 10 mbps network from ( Reliance Company) Reliance broadband connection.

We have devided it in multiple parts 4 mbps , 2mbps , 1 mbps , 0.5 mbps etc..

it is devided as per priority of internet requirement for each person.. We devided it with lan network to our all computers.

we have internal server to devide it properly and we have given on line for wifi to guest and other important persons who required internet anywhere.

for emails and intenal communication we use internal server on outlook.

to send mails to other people out company and connecting wih this world we use external server on internet to communicate with other.

one problem is that ,

we have single line incoming and devided it to multiple outgoings,

so if we find network down on that line our all line stops internet and connection with world.

so i suggest at least one extra backup option for that.

and some times broadband do not work at all for faulty condition... so it good to have wifi network for back up option.

and rather than deviding single line to multiple user, take saperate line for each Speed ( resolution) required.

Like 10 mbps , 8 mbps, 4 mbps, etc
