What is the difference between a nucleotide sequence and a protein sequence?
Solution
Answer :
Nucleotide sequence comprises of four nitrogenous bases in DNA ( A, T, G, and C) and in RNA (A, U, G, and C). Uracil is present in RNA and absent in DNA whereas thymine is present in DNA and absent in RNA.
Whereas, the protein sequence is the sequence of amino acids which are synthesised from the mRNA whose individual aminoacids are joined by peptide bonds.
