Solution

The graph will look like below, for finding the value

x(0-) = 0, x(1) = 1/4, x(2) = 1 [ from the period of 0 to 2] it will be polynomial increasing function

x(2) = 1 and x(4) = 1 since it will be constant function for this period of time

x(4) = f(4) and x(6) = f(6)

the figure is not given hene the f(t) cannot be deduced

Methods to deduce

f(4) = 1 and f(6) = 0 and check the graph given in the problem

x4(4-t) will have the values given below

from -2 to 0 it will be equal to f(t)

from 0 to 2 it will be equal to 1

from 2 to 4 it will be equal to (t-2/2)^2
