Suppose that f24 and f37 Determine f2 and f3 if f is an odd
Suppose that f(-2)=4 and f(3)=7. Determine f(2) and f(-3) if f is an odd function.
Solution
We have the property of odd function :-
A function is \"odd\" when:
f(x) = f(x) for all x
Now given f(-2) = 4
hence we have , -f(2) = f(-2) \\
=> - f(2) = 4
=> f(2) = -4
And -f(3) = f(-3)
=> - 7 = f(-3)
=> f(-3) = -7
