At these speeds I usually tell myself, \"Heck, I go 25 mph on a bicycle, I don\'t wear protection for that.\" So I proceed to ride in a t-shirt, no helmet etc.... But then I got to thinking....the motorcycle weighs A LOT more than the bicycle. My question is, if I was treated as a projectile, flying off a motorcycle going 25 mph. Would any of its momentum be transferred to me? (I feel like yes?) Just seems like falling off a bicycle at 25 mph would not be as painful as a motorcycle... Any thoughts? (Another way to ask the question....Would I hit the ground \"harder\" riding a motorcycle vs a bike, if every aspect of the crash was more or less the same?)
