Is there a difference in the average amount of time boys and girls ages 7 through 11 play sports each day? A sample of 9 girls produced an average of 2hours/day and a standard deviation of 0.87 hours/day, and a sample of 16 boys produced an average of 3.2hours/day and a standard deviation of 1 hour/day.
