Solution

At 1/4, theta= cos-1(1/4) = 75.52 degrees.

now, when cos(theta) = -1/4

we know that, cos(180-theta) = -cos(theta)

Therefore, 180-theta = 75.52

theta = 180-75.52 = 104.48 ....for cos(theta) = -1/4

 What is theta at cos(theta) = -1/4 and at 1/4? Can anyone explain how to solve this? Thanks in advance! What is theta at cos(theta) = -1/4 and at 1/4? Can anyo
