Background: A country\'s business environment may be influenced by the importance of family, religious beliefs, and demographic trends. You goal is to gain cultural and social awareness about the country (or countries) in which you are considering doing business for your global product/service.
Global Business Case:
You are a senior executi ve of a firm that is seeking to expand globally. The Chief Executive Officer has tasked you to develop a Global Business Plan. During this case study, analyze the global product or service which you identified in Global Business Plan Activity #1.
For this case study, the CEO requested that you investigate a specific location (outside the United States) to study the cultural and ethical impacts of globalization. Identify a location outside the U.S. where your firm may wish to have a significant operation or presence. Preferably, select a city/country that is significantly different from the U.S. in social, cultural, and religious characteristics.
Conduct research on the major cultural forces in this location using the categories and concepts presented in Chapter 4 of the Global Business Today text such as Social Structure, Religion, Language, demographic trends (birth rates and literacy rates), etc. (see Figure 4.1 on page 94).
Identify specific impacts and implications of the social and cultural environment of your firm and the global product/service you are studying. You may wish to compile the data in an easy-to-read table. Be sure to include data from reputable sources beyond the text.
Cite your sources and include a list of references in APA format.

to become a successful business player, the firms have to focus on offering a qualitative product, at reasonable price, the product should be acceptable by the customer by the global level. but it is very difficult to implement in reality, because every customer is thinks in a diffren way and he expects something new always.
and the global customers thinks in different ways, the people who stays in India thinks in a different way when we compares with the customers in US and Japan. so, as a global player we have to know the pulse of each customer and we should able to meet him expectations. the product may be successful one in US but it may be a failure one in India or in some other nation.
a real example is: when McDonalds was introduced Burgers in India, they were completely fialed and no cusomer is interested to have a Burger. but the same food item was much successful was in US and in some other nations. when they conducted a study they came to know that Indians does not eat beaf meat and they hate the people who consume them. this is one example, and there will be many like this.
and the climatic conditions also we should consider to launch a product. every nation have its own climatic conditions and which may be unique when compares to others. so, based on this aspect also we should plan. ane one more important character is the culture, values, habits and behavirours of the customers.
so, if a firm wants to operate its activities in more than one nation, they need to be plan all the inputs and how they carry on the business. they may starts their own, they may entered with some other player who is already existed there, or they may give licences to some one else and so on.
