can someone please help me using geogebra
Use a straightedge and compass to construct the following numbers as indicated ( so you can use any shortcuts such as midpoint, perpendicular bisector, angular bisector, perpendicular line, parallel line, semicicle)
Solution
1. for root 7 on Y axis
put 3 unit on x axis and at 3,0 open your compass to 4 units and from 3,0 try to intersect +ve y axis, the value where it will touch will be root 7 on y axis.
as root 7 = root( 16-9)
2. for root11 on +ve x axis ,
put 4 unit on y axis and open your compass to 5 units then from point 0,4 try to intersect +ve x axis
the value where it will touch will be root 11 on +ve x axis.
as root11 = root (25-16)
3. for root11/root7 at x axis , we will use semicircle.
