How to design drivetrain?

The system in a motor vehicle which connects the transmission to the drive axles is known drivetrain.

It is the group of components that deliver power to the driving wheels.

This excludes the engine or motor that generates the power.

However the powertrain includes both the engine or motor and the drivetrain.

The components of a drivetrain are clutch, gearbox, propeller shaft and rear axle.
