Both are parallel artchitectures. Associative processors will have associative memory in the archetecture Systolic arrays will have VLSI structures in their architecture Systolic arrays are simple, regular, concurrent and communication oriented. Systolic arrays are special purpose planner array of simple processors. They have near-neighbor interconnection network i.e. 2,4 or 6 neighbors. Associative processor is also a special purpose computer which has associative memory, from which data can be retrived with the help of address and edited, and also operations can be performed on latge sets of data with parallel instructions.
