Solve the following system of equations using substitution? what is the value of y

2x+3y=105

x+2y=65

2x+3y=105 ----(1)

x+2y=65 ------(2)

from equation 2 : x = 65 -2y

substitute value of x in equation (1)

2(65 -2y) +3y = 105

130 -4y +3y = 105

-y = -25

y = 25

Now find value of x : x= 65 -2y = 65 -50 = 15

x = 15 ; y = 25
