You cross haploid est-uncg yeast to haploid wildtype yeast. If the est-uncg phenotype is caused by a single mutation, what percentage of the resulting spores produced will be wildtype?

50% of the resulting spores produced will be wildtype, becuase out of four spores in the diploid division two will be type a and two will be type ALPHA, If type a is mutant then type alpha will be wild type.
